WINTER PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES 2009 Click here for PDF of full list of Winter 2009 Programs All programs are organized and operated by the North Edmonton Seniors Association (NESA). *The Winter 2009 Program & Activity Guide is now available on-line. *2009 Memberships will go on sale on November 17th. *Winter Registration starts Thursday, Dec 4th at 9am. Numbers will be handed out at 8am- no sooner. * Register early to avoid cancellation! It is program policy to cancel classes one week prior to the start date if there is insufficient registrations. Our Fitness Centre is open Monday thru Friday, daytimes, call for more information (780.944.7442). PROGRAMS ¨ Classes may be cancelled or altered if the minimum requirement is not met. ¨ Sign up early to avoid cancellation due to insufficient registration. It is program policy to cancel classes one week prior to the start date if there is insufficient registrations. ¨ Cost of supplies is extra for most programs. ¨ If you are unable to attend registration day, have someone register for you. ¨ It is important to attend the FIRST CLASS in all programs. Club and some dancing fees will not be collected upon registration. Payment to be made to individual clubs and classes. REFUNDS ¨ NO REFUNDS will be given under any circumstances. ¨ You are not registered until you pay. We now accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit. ¨ Available for persons 55 and older @ $25 per year (Jan– Dec). The 2008 Membership is currently on sale. ¨ All program participants must be members of NESA, buy a seasonal pass or pay a non-member fee. ¨ Memberships from participating Senior Centres will be honoured for instructional classes. This means you will be placed on a waiting list for 7 days like any non-member and if space is available, you will be charged member rates. SEASONAL MEMBERS ¨ Non-seniors are permitted in most daytime programs. However, the fee is $25 higher and priority will be given to seniors. ¨ A seasonal program pass for $25 allows non-members to take any number of classes at membership rates. COMMUNITY EVENING PROGRAMS ¨ Community programs are run on a first-come basis, available to adults 18 yrs. or older. DISCLAIMERS ¨ Opinions expressed by guest speakers do not necessarily reflect the view of the Program Committee or Board of Directors. ¨ The North Edmonton Seniors Association is not responsible for any physical injuries incurred during any of its programs. ¨ All participants must sign a waiver form before being permitted to partake in North Edmonton Seniors Association programs.
